When I work with reclaimed wood I always like to figure out what that board was used for in the old house.
But I don’t just see an old door frame or window sill. I always think about the joy, laughter, pain, and everyday living that these 100+ year old boards have witnessed.
Even though I don’t know what they are telling me, the boards have a story. I just wonder what that story is.
I truly love what I do.
